I began my apprenticeship in January 1969 with a local firm of painter & decorators. I was apprenticed for 6 years until I was 21, learning all aspects of the trade, after which I then joined another local decorating firm.
After leaving there in 1975 I joined the maintenance department of the electricity board where I worked for 24 years until I was made redundant in 1999. I then set up my own business in April 2000 and have been working as a sole trader ever since.
I carry out all aspects of interior and exterior painting & decorating and wallpaper hanging in my local area, both for domestic and small commercial customers and I am both prompt and professional. I do have public liability insurance. I always use good quality paints from local suppliers such as Dulux and Crown Paints.
All estimates are free, except for insurance work where there is a £25.00 charge for the estimate to be prepared.
I am a member of the Painting & Decorating Association.
